Sea Pinks

The Story Behind This Artwork

These little "Sea Pinks" grow all along the coast in the height of the summer. I painted them while they were in full bloom and contrasting beautifully with the yellow ochre lichen on the rocks with a backdrop of  the beautiful blues of the Atlantic Ocean along the West Coast of Ireland.

We were in lock down while I was conducting this painting en plein air and they brought such joy and colour to my heart that instead of feeling locked down , I felt alive & so lucky to have such beauty all around us hidden in plain sight.

Fine Art Giclée Print, available in two sizes with the option of being framed or unframed.   The large framed (20" x 16") is €130 and medium framed €90 (16" x 12").  All prints are named and signed on the mount and on the back of the print by myself.
