The Úna Taaffe Triptych

The 'Úna Taaffe Triptych' is inspired by late iconic Úna Taaffe. Every town has a larger than life colourful character, and for years Galway had Úna. A fascinating character who for most of her life smashed stereotypes as an activist, a compassionate humanitarian and astute business-woman. Later in life, troubled by mental health problems and social isolation, she publically descended into eccentricity.
