Nun's Island Street
The Story Behind This Artwork
Nun's Island Street, one of Galway's oldest streets, is steeped in history that can be dated back 200 years to the Persse Whiskey Distillery group. It is situated in a quiet residential street, between O’Brien Bridge and the Galway Cathedral.
I have completed a series of paintings relating to Galway City. Visit my Sean Ghaillimh (Old Galway) Collection to view the complete series.
I hope you enjoy taking my art to your home. Meaningful storytelling prints not only add fantastic colour to your home but they are a great talking point now that you know the reason it was created!
