As an artist, I work hard to develop paintings that tell stories of beauty in the everyday; the beauty that is hidden in plain sight. My artworks are stories of the beauty and mystery hidden in a simple white feather, a thistle, wildflowers, in animals, the forgotten streets, the social outcasts. Like new grass under the snow, beauty is often hidden around us, I attempt to create artworks where eyes that want to see, see, an accidental meeting of a prepared mind.

Oscar Wild once said, “the true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible”. My art is all about taking time to slow down, to see the beauty and vivid colours in the everyday, while wondering could that feather that just fell before me be 'just a feather' or something more?
